I will keep it like Native. I don't think volley fire really suits LOTR.

I'm not sure, but I think faction in warband can only attack neighbouring factions, so what's going to happen with a good faction surrounded only by good factions?
also, since it's warband, I know you made it so good factions love eachother, and hate evil factions, but since it's warband.... can good factions go to war against eachother?
and the whole "declaring war to curb power", is that still in there? that always bugged me in huge mods like anno domini

Good factions... They CAN. So if you were a Gondor lord and attacked a Rohan lord, then yes, you could spiral things into a war with Rohan, but...
You'd have to try really hard.

If good factions are surrounded by other good factions, the faction in the middle will either send its parties through allied territory, or they will do nothing at all.

I don't remember ever removing any declare war to curb power script, but I'm sure we'll see how annoying it is in the Beta.

I think that it should be a toggleable option, as I imagine it might work well for the elves. Also, to people who don't know, you can add it yourself by a small tweak of the text files.

well it won't be a problem in the first module, because it only has 4 factions, but when you'll end up with all of the factions you'll be at constant war with 5 nations in the end, constantly getting "village raided" messages on your screen

Not really; most factions are too far away - combat is very localised, just less so than in Total War - it actually works quite well, because you might find yourself being surprised in desperate situations, such as an Elven party coming to help you fight in Helm's Deep!

That also goes for each singleplayer module as new ones are released, right? So that Men of the West doesn't stay with those 4 factions after, say, the Elves have come out. Just making sure.

faction in anno domini are also far away, that's why only the ones that boarder you declare war, the others just ignore you

another quick question, will you be able to reïnforce your camp? maybe even turn it into a wooden castle at some point?
build more fief upgrades, or maybe a manor system like in anno domini?
